RBC & Cargo Presenting Strategies to Win SMBs at 2022 Financial Brand Forum

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Canada’s biggest bank based on market capitalization, and Cargo, the world’s premier business to small business (B2SB) marketing agency, are presenting a panel discussion entitled “The Money’s in Mindset-Based Marketing: Strategies that Win SMBs” at the 2022 Financial Brand Forum, being held November 13-16 at the Aria Hotel & Resort in Las Vegas.

In the session, Cargo’s small business experts will reveal and explore the findings from their latest SMB Survey, which asks small to medium-sized business owners the questions to which financiers most want answers. After unveiling the data, the panel will explore marketing tactics designed to help decision makers at financial companies capture the SMB audience for their brand.

Nicolas Rouleau, Group Account Director at Cargo Canada will moderate the discussion, which includes Karen Svendsen, Senior Director Client and Business Strategy Small Business, RBC, and Bryce Gartner, Chief Experience Officer, Cargo.

“It’s crucial for financial institutions to align their marketing efforts with the mindset of small business owners,” says Mr. Rouleau. “SMBs not only want to feel like their financial services providers are listening to their needs, but they also demand that those providers show they understand the value of their partnership in everything from marketing to the products and services they offer.”

According to the Financial Brand Forum, “more than 2,500 people from 900+ of the most progressive and respected financial institutions are projected to attend the Forum 2022. One in every 15 banking providers in the U.S. will attend, and over two-thirds of attendees are VP-level or higher.”
